How do we calculate?
Pick providers and criteria (services + usage). The calculator prices the same stack for each — missing services are filled from the cheapest source (other). Below, the cheapest mixes: the cheapest provider is found for every service. Core from one provider (in mix settings) keeps the VPS, database, Redis, block volume and load balancer with one provider. Object storage, CDN, email and monitoring are picked freely. VPS egress and CDN traffic are separate dials (the volumes differ). The VPS price includes a public IPv4 and egress overage. Unknown extra costs are marked ?. The VPS card shows PassMark Single and a scaled Mark ⚠︎ when the chip is known (UpCloud, Oracle, AWS EC2, GCP AMD, partly Azure) — the same scale as the VPS comparison. The Min Single slider filters out VPSes with no PassMark figure or Single below the limit. If no managed database or Redis size matches the spec, the next larger minimum size is used (↑ larger size) — so e.g. a replicated 4 GB tier is not shown as the “same spec” price as a genuinely single-node 2 GB. Prices are estimates — always verify with the vendor.
